Using this website and our services
These terms cover your use of this website and any work you hire B&G Valdosta Spray Foam Insulation to do. When you browse the site, call us, send the form or book a job, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work through it.
"We", "us" and "our" mean B&G Valdosta Spray Foam Insulation, an insulation contractor based in Valdosta, GA. "You" means the person using the site or the property owner who hires us. You can read more about who we are on our About page, or start from the home page.
What we do
We install, remove and repair insulation in homes and commercial buildings in Valdosta and the cities around it. That includes spray foam, blown-in insulation, attic air sealing, crawl space work and vapor barriers.
What we describe on this website is general information about the trade and how we usually work. It isn't a promise about your house, because every attic, wall and crawl space is different, and we only know the full picture once we've seen it in person. The scope of your job is whatever your written estimate says.
Estimates and pricing
Quotes are free, on site and come with no obligation to hire us. We come out, look at what's already there and give you a written estimate for the work, the materials and the areas we'll cover.
An estimate is based on what we can see and reach on the day. If we open up an attic or a wall and find something we couldn't see before, such as wet or contaminated old insulation, damaged framing or pests, we'll stop and talk to you before doing any extra work. Extra work and any change in price need your approval first.
Unless your estimate says otherwise, it's good for 30 days. After that, material prices can change and we may need to update it.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We'll agree on a date with you and confirm it before the crew arrives. You're responsible for giving us safe access to the work areas, clearing stored items out of the way where we've asked and telling us about anything we should know, such as pets, known leaks or old wiring.
Some materials, spray foam in particular, need everyone out of the house for a set time while they cure. We'll tell you before the job when you need to leave and when you, your kids and your pets can come back inside, and you agree to follow that instruction.
If you need to cancel or move your date, please call us as early as you can, ideally at least 48 hours ahead, so we can give the slot to someone else. If materials were ordered specially for your job before you cancel, we may charge for them. Weather, supply delays or safety problems can also make us move a date, and we'll let you know as soon as we can.
Payment
Your estimate or invoice sets out how much is due and when, including any deposit. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.
If a payment is late, we may pause any remaining work until it's settled. You're responsible for reasonable costs we have to pay to collect an unpaid balance, to the extent Georgia law allows.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
We stand behind our work, and your satisfaction is guaranteed. If something we installed isn't right, call us and we'll come back and look at it.
That guarantee covers our workmanship on the job we did. It doesn't cover damage from roof leaks, plumbing leaks, pests, storms, other contractors' work or changes someone else makes after we leave. Insulation products also carry their own makers' warranties, and those terms come from the maker, not from us.
Apart from what's written here and in your estimate, our work and this website are provided as they are, without other promises. We can't promise a set drop in your power bill or a set temperature in any room, because those depend on things outside our work, such as your HVAC system, ductwork, windows and how the house is used.
Limits on our liability
We're licensed and insured, and we take reasonable care on every job. To the extent Georgia law allows, our total liability for any claim tied to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
We aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as lost rent, lost business or hotel costs, beyond what Georgia law requires. We also aren't responsible for problems that existed before we started and that we couldn't reasonably have seen, or for harm caused by not following our instructions about leaving the house and returning.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that Georgia law doesn't let a business take away.
If we disagree
If you're unhappy with anything, call us first at (229) 427-0044 or reach us through the Contact page. Most problems get fixed with a visit and a conversation, and we'd like the chance to make it right.
If we can't settle it that way, either of us may take the matter to a court with jurisdiction in Lowndes County, Georgia, including small claims court where the amount allows.
Which law applies
These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies. Changes don't affect a job you've already signed for, which stays under the terms that applied when you accepted the estimate.
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
